Under the supervision and expertise of our Executive Chef, our food is meticulously prepared using fresh, high quality ingredients sourced locally and from around the world. We strive to achieve a balance between creative and comforting, classic and innovative, with the common purpose of consistently delivering an unforgettable dining experience.
Since its inception 25 years ago by original owners Tom and Holly Reay, Funistrada has been a beloved fixture in the Glen Lake community. In May 2023, Susan & Mike Garver, longtime residents and loyal patrons of the restaurant, took over ownership with a singular purpose: to continue the tradition and preserve the essence of Funistrada for all guests to continue to enjoy.
In honoring the legacy of the original owners, the Garver family is dedicated to maintaining the unique charm and character that has made Funistrada a cherished local gem. They strive to create a welcoming environment for all and to ensure that every visit to Funistrada feels like coming home.
